Why bother making a site like this? it took me about 10 minutes to put together as i bought the content from else where and its great for niche traffic.

I launched a blog today that simply lists jobs in Dubai & employment news, as I travel to Dubai a lot, I tend to get a lot of information for employment etc in Dubai, I have also given access to major job agencies in Dubai so they will be posting new offers etc on a regular basis.

I would like to announce the launch of the official secret network logo:

For those that don’t quite understand the power of the new logo, try looking at it upside down… the logo has been hand drawn & its quite an art, this technique is called an Ambigram, I initially commissioned John Langdon to develop a logo for The Secret Network, John Langdon is the famous author of the book Wordplay & also for working with Dan Brown on The Da Vinche Code & Angels & Demons, John developed a nice & clean logo but I wanted something more complex, something more ambiguous, something that would have the viewer staring at it trying to work it out! John’s time was very limited so I searched high & low and eventually found Mark Palmer who was based in the USA, a genius when it comes to text art & playing with lettering…

In the words of Mark Palmer, the designer of the logo:

“I started the design by drawing the basic lettering components by hand and then scanning to the computer. From there, I quickly realized that some typographical trickery was going to have to happen in order to pull off the capital “N” in Network. And, in creating the swash that swoops through the N to form the diagonal, I realized that I could create a half-circle shape beneath the design that would then create a complete circle when the design element was duplicated and rotated 180 degrees to finish the phrase. What better element to symbolize a network than a circle? The rest of the work was basically fine-tuning and inter-connecting all of the elements in order to create the nice circular flow to the Ambigram while still maintaining the visual symmetry of the design” - Mark Palmer

I’m very pleased with the final logo & I will be implementing it in all my projects, if you see the above logo anywhere, you can assume its our project, many of you have said its hard to read, or its hard to work out what it says, but thats the whole point, its a secret network of people working together, Its more of a symbol as apposed to words, those of you that are intelligent, will understand the concept, we have also had the logo fully trademarked worldwide.
