I had a idea to develop ThePixelWebsite.com even further, I created a new grid with 1 million pixels, this time just charging $1 per 100 pixels, so only 1 cent each, however this grid is for people with profiles only, like myspace etc…

The idea is to create a mosaic of people, it will be interesting to see it after its done, I have made it dirt cheap, hardly will that much from it but its a nice add-on… each person that buy’s a box also gets a code to add to their myspace linking back to the page, so as more people buy, the more the traffic back will also increase making it fair for all people that have bought a space!!

Just to clear up my post yesterday, im not saying i was the first to start a pixel website, we all know that isn’t true, im saying we were one of the first to start the gold, silver & bronze method!

…also there are many pixel sites out there that are doing well, i do support individuality, its all the same concept, but i support people that are coming up with their own marketing, own ideas, etc… i was a little mad as i found a pixel site that is more or less cloning this website, the text, the blog, the whole lot… claiming it was theirs… which is why i was a little peeed of!

Well that’s cleared that one up… moving swiftly on…

Did 2 more interviews today with papers, they come out next week, i will post them up very soon!

Things have blown up for OneBillionPageViews.com and i have been covering the press for that for the last week or so, i hit all the papers this week and next week, i will be in London’s Metro, Informer, Leader, Chronicle and some national papers i wont mention yet!

I will be promoting this site along side the other one so they both move side by side, that will soon make this the highest traffic pixel site on the web!

…there are already some ripp off’s of thepixelwebsite.com out there, some people are even copying our bronze, silver & gold idea etc… copy and pasting text from our site, our press idea’s and more… doesn’t bother me! as long as everyone knows we were one of the first to give all businesses a chance to advertise using the bronze, silver & gold method! The broze grid is at 1p per pixel, the silver at 10p per pixel & the gold at £1 per pixel!

Please be aware for your own sakes of cheap imitations, there are pixel sites out there with hardly any traffic! Its important to get a good return on investment! We give you that… its not about just selling all the space and giving nothing in return, we concentrate on building traffic, the brand and loyalty among our users, then the advertisers will simply follow… its our philosophy and seems to work!

We now have just under 600,000 hits! I’m just waiting for some national press articles to be sent to me so i can add them to the press section!

Pixels are constantly selling… we havn’t even really pushed the selling side of it really, just a few e-mails here and there… been concentrating more on press and exposure! I would rather advertisers get value for money then push selling adverts and not focus on getting traffic, exposure and press to the site!

Just waiting for Alexa & Google to update… sold more pixels today, i don’t think a day has gone by in the last week that we havn’t sold pixels… I was in Yahoo News again today, this time for both my sites im promoting! Things are always on the up…

We are officially a top 40,000 website on the whole internet! Alexa.com did a update today!

Its now official, today is the 12th day the site has been online and to be in the top 40,000 is un-thinkable!

Im over the moon, the hard work and sleepless nights are paying off!

We have also been featured in the major press in India, check the press section for more info!

Man i haven’t even had time to post on the blog, you can see by the site, we are nearly at 20,000 pixels sold, yesterday was our busiest day to date! we had 53581 hits yesterday alone! We are now totaling 354177 so far, its been about 10 days since the site has been online! Our daily hits now average 27244!

Keep spreading the word people… this is the next big one without a shadow of doubt!

Just woke up to check the stats! Im pleased to say we hit over 200,000 hits in the first 7 days of this site being online! from zero to that in just 7 days is incredible…!

…also i have made the decision to invest a good amount of the revenue that comes in from the site into on going marketing for the site… probably about a 100 grand, this will keep the site active over the 10 year period and not fizzle away… thats about 10 grand a year, thats a fair amount for marketing & advertising for a already established site!

Just a added bonus for our advertisers re-assuring them im not about to make a million and do my own thing! I’m in your shoes right now as we speak, i know what its like to struggle and maintain a small business, im not here to rip you off!
